Security Monitor Pro

DeskShare has several types of software applications to offer: FTP clients, speech tools, conversion utilities, task management software, video security software, and more. Focusing on the video security software category, it must be mentioned that DeskShare has two useful tools to offer: WebCam Monitor, a tool you can use to turn your PC and camera into a video surveillance system, and Security Monitor Pro, a powerful tool that provides support for multiple USB and IP cameras.

Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, 2012, 2008, and 2003 are supported. This means Security Monitor Pro will run on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. To get Security Monitor Pro up and running you will have to complete a standard installation procedure: download an installer, run it, click through the setup wizard. Please note that you will be installing a trial version that has limited functionality to offer.

Speaking about functionality, here is what you can expect to get from Security Monitor Pro: view footage from up to 32 cameras (tons of camera models are supported; you can use USB and IP cameras); pan, tilt, and zoom cameras; record whatever the camera says; take a picture of whatever the camera sees; run the application in Hide Mode; handy scheduler; upload videos to FTP; set motion-triggered alerts; and more.
